What does your gym look like? Kayak and SUP Fitness and Yoga classes provide a perfect way to get fit while outdoors enjoying pristine beaches and waterways.


Take your fitness journey to the next level with a Kayak Fitness class. Sessions involve a full body work out with a mixture of the basic skills of kayaking. 


Manly Kayak Centre proudly runs all Fitness classes in collaboration with Chocolate Fitness.

Kayak Fitness classes involve a full body work out with a mixture of the basic skills of kayaking and paddling techniques. ​​
Classes are always a fresh blend of kayaking drills and sprints, sand running and exercises, circuits and full body plyometrics. Expect to be challenged with something new every session and to work at your own pace no matter your level of fitness.
Class format:
25-30 minute paddle from Manly Sealife Sactuary to Q Station Beach

35 – 45 minute high intensity beach workout session

25 – 30 minute scenic paddle back through the harbour to base


90 minutes


Instructor, kayak, paddle, life vest
What to bring
Paddling clothes (rashie, board shorts, hat)
Drinking water
Sunscreen and towel
Old running shoes
Thermal top, wind breaker (on cold days)
Dry change of clothes for after the paddle
